Welcome to the King County Young Democrats
As an active chapter of the Young Democrats of Washing, the King County Young Democrats (KCYD) have only two membership requirements — that you be under 36 years old and declare yourself to be a Democrat. KCYD is committed to promoting Democratic values and ensuring young voters have a voice and access to the political process by stimulating an active interest in governmental affairs and promoting their involvement in the political process.
Whether you're already a member of KCYD, someone who is seeking to get involved in Democratic politics, or just someone who wants to learn more about the issues young voters in King County and Washington State care about, you've come to the right place.
Please take a momment to subcribe to our newsletter on the right or look over past newletters under the "News" tab, and visit us at an upcoming event under the "Events" tab or by joining our Facebook group.

December Meeting and Food Drive!
Our next KCYD meeting is this upcoming Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 pm. We will have a brief business meeting that will include a vote on the constitution changes proposed in November, a resolution written by the Snohomish County Young Democrats, and details on the health care rally coming up December 12th. Come join us at the RAM in University Village for food, drinks, and networking with Young Democrats in the region.
We have the "back room" near the rear of the restaurant, so make sure you come an join us for a good time and the last KCYD meeting of the decade!
As a final note we are collecting food for Hopelink, it has been a difficult year for many in our area and good food can go a long way towards helping others in need. For a list of most items most needed for donation, please check their website at: http://www.hope-link.org/takeaction/inkind
Hope to see you all out to our last meeting of the year!
